Hahnville High School in Hahnville, Louisiana was built in 1923 on property on the River Road along the Mississippi River. The first graduating class was in 1924. The mascot is a tiger. The school colors are purple and gold. The Fight Song contains music only and is the same melody as Louisiana State University’s fight song.

For 50 years, the high school served the people on the West Bank of St. Charles Parish. When the building became too costly to repair and maintain, the new Hahnville High School was built off of Highway 90. The old high school building was demolished in the spring of 1976. The last class to graduate from the old high school was in 1975.

The old Hahnville High School will forever live in the hearts and minds of the people on the West Bank of St. Charles Parish.
